Less for You Initiative

The InfoWise Foundation’s Less for You initiative is a direct-to-consumer public service campaign crafted to draw attention to corporate practices that impact consumers’ mental and general health and wellbeing.

The campaign’s first phase is aimed at the Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter platforms — which multiple peer-reviewed studies have linked to depression, anxiety, self-harm and other issues.

Less for You does not ask social media users to end social platform use. Instead it shares evidence of improved mood and wellbeing associated with more limited use.

With initial phase funding, the campaign will launch at targeted Southern California locations.
